It’s All About Teamwork

There is no “I” in “team”, and no one knows it better than the Six Samurai. Each Samurai has its own amazing powers that they can use when they’re on the field with a buddy. Here are some of the special moves of the Six Samurai:

The Six Samurai – Zanji will defeat any foe, regardless of his own safety, as long as he has a friend to back him up.

The Six Samurai – Yaichi and The Six Samurai – Kamon team up to destroy Spell and Trap Cards. Yaichi picks off Set cards, and Kamon demolishes face-up cards like Equip Spells, Field Spells, and Continuous Spells and Traps.

Legendary Six Samurai – Enishi has two powers: With one other Six Samurai, he can send any monster on the field back to the hand. He can even use it to save your own monster from a Trap! With two other Six Samurai alongside him, Enishi’s ATK and DEF grow by 500.

The Many Faces of Shien

The continuing military dominance of the Six Samurai can rightly be attributed to their esteemed commander, Shien. But who is Shien, really? When the Six Samurai debuted 5 years ago we knew him as Great Shogun Shien, whose tactical prowess pinned down opponents and stifled their ability to use Spells and Traps.

But in Storm of Ragnarok, we saw another face of Shien, when he returned as Legendary Six Samurai – Shi En (available separately), a frontline warrior who could slice straight through Spells and trip up Traps with one swing of his wicked blade!

And now, only in the Samurai Warlords Structure Deck, a third face of Shien has emerged: Shadow of the Six Samurai – Shien! Just who is this mysterious Xyz Monster? We’re not telling, but we will tell you that having him around can turn even the most specialized squadron of Six Samurai into massive wrecking balls, during either player’s turn!

Even if you aren’t interested in building your own Six Samurai Deck, the Samurai Warlords Structure Deck also collects powerful cards that can help any Deck that you’re trying to bring up to tournament standards. Dark Hole eradicates all monsters on the field, Fiendish Chain locks down a monster and negates its effects, and Rivalry of Warlords disassembles Decks that are a mish-mash of unrelated cards while rewarding you for building around your favorite Type of monsters!
